All students receive a comprehensive orientation program to assist in a smooth entrance into the college. It is paramount for all new students to understand the key elements necessary to achieve the prescribed goals and objectives. Orientation includes information regarding schedules, and other college policies and procedures and is arranged as part of the admissions process. The Orientation Coordinator must be a key staff member who is intricately familiar with all institutional operations, but even at that, other staff members may need to be involved for specific information the coordinator should be a positive, motivating professional, yet the orientation program must be factual and complete. New students should be encouraged to talk about themselves and ask any questions. If the Coordinator develops a sense that a new student is not fully prepared to enter training, the student should be immediately referred to the school director.
